More good news, the eyes are feeling great! As you can see in the picture the swelling has gone down. There is still some dryness, but a drop or two of fake tears does the trick. I know it is a little creepy seeing the eye so close up, but it is still cool!

I can See!
If you look closely at the picture you can see a red half circle surrounding the top portion of my iris. This is where the laser cut the skin of my eye. The skin was then peeled back so the laser could get directly to my lens. My lens were then burned to the correct shape and the "flap" of skin was then flopped back into place.
It looks bad, but there is/was NO PAIN! My eye now feels dry but eye drops solve that problem. The only restrictions I have is that I can not swim for 6 weeks and NO RUBBING OF THE EYE! That means I will have to put my speedos away. BUMMER.
On a totally different subject I have been a cleaning/unpacking like a fool lately. I am getting ready for Easter. The whole Od-family will all be coming to "the big town" and having easter at the OdManor. I am excited to show off the new place. To add to the excitement, I am also planning a golf outing. Imagine that, a golf outing in northern Iowa the third week of March.
Stay tuned for exciting blogs.........................

Finally I am back
Sorry for the delay in updating this site, but I have been living life to much to stop.
Well to start off, let me introduce some of my regular visitors.

These guys love to stop by every day and get a little snack. I think that they like the glass jar, but they can never figure out how to get the cob out.
No winter yard is complete without its own "Snow Angel". If this little angel doesn't melt your heart then your crazy!
This is a picture of my new baby. Basically it is an acme rocket with skis. IT IS FUN TO RIDE! Stop on in and we can take it out for a spin.
I am not the only one that got a new toy with skis. Now that is the picture of a spoiled kid! There was nothing like that when I was a kid.
Here is a picture of a good time waiting to happen. From left to right it is Uncle Black Sled, Kiddy Kat, and Red Sled. We now love when it snows.

Its a whole "new" place
Well since I am not at my old home anymore, I guess I will have to take over the blog. Let me start with a thanks to the Jacobs for prompting me to get this site updated.
I am finally moved into my new home in Algona, IA. It is a dream come true!

THANK GOD FOR MOVERS. This is a plug for Lint Van Lines. They are GREAT. They saved me major back pains and stopped my begging of friends and family to come help move me.

Here is a view from the street.

This is the second lot with its flower garden and grape trellis. Anyone have a good grape jelly recipe?

Here are some of the views I will see a lot of. This is the backdoor near the "little" garage. If you look behind the tree/bush you will see the second garage which has been converted to be a shop. This just makes my mind race with projects that I won't get finished!

I know that you probably want more pictures of the inside, but I am not done unpacking! There is more to come. One of the many perks of the "new" home is shown in the middle of the picture. I am not the proud owner of a corn burner. It is a little noisier than I expected but not bad. Let's burn that corn!

Its like under grad again
Well if you knew me in when I was at Iowa State University this scene would look like a picture from your memory banks. I am back to living cheaply with as little of my stuff as possible. That way I can easily move myself to my new home.
If you could see the bike up close you would see that it has a layer of dust on it from not being used! I do promise I will start riding sooooooon.

Time to Move on!!!!
Check out the rig that stopped by to haul all the stuff. The two guys that jumped out to pack up all the stuff were so proud of their ride that they even Armor All'ed the tires before driving up.
The two guys that packed up the truck were GREAT! Super nice, funny, and hard working! I give Lint United Van Lines an A++.
